The team

Liliane Soares
Lawyer registered with the Paris Bar and the Rio de Janeiro Bar (Brazil).
Liliane Soares is the founding lawyer of LDPS Law. She advises individuals and companies on international cases and provides strategic coordination for the firm's activities.
In Brazil, having graduated in Law from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro and registered with the Rio de Janeiro Bar Association since 2002, she has developed a professional practice as a lawyer and provided legal advice to Brazilian public institutions.
In France, she holds a Master's degree in Public Law obtained from the University of Franche-Comté in 2019, with honors. She worked within the French public administration in the field of public contracts and competitive bidding procedures, before continuing her career as a lawyer in a law firm.
In France, she served as Director of the Brazilian Association of Lawyers in France (ABA France) from 2024 to 2025, is a member of the Legal Commission of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in France (CCBF) and a member of the Latin America Commission of the Paris Bar.
She is also a member of the Latin American Climate Lawyers Initiative for Mobilizing Action (LACLIMA), the International Center for Comparative Environmental Law and the Brazilian Institute of Foreign and Comparative Law (IBDESC) and co-author of legal works.
She regularly speaks at international legal events and volunteers in training and research activities and legal and international cooperation.

Fernando Cattelan Cordeiro
Partner lawyer, registered with the Bar of Portugal and the Bar of São Paulo (Brazil).
Fernando Cattelan Cordeiro practices law within a European framework, focusing on cross-border legal situations.
He works alongside the firm to assist individuals and companies facing issues involving multiple jurisdictions, in cases with an international dimension linking Europe and Latin America, in matters of private international law, international contracts and international disputes.
A graduate in law from the University of São Paulo (USP), he also holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), as well as a Master's degree in Law and Legal Sciences from the University of Lisbon.
This dual legal and international background allows him to bring a cross-cutting approach to European legal issues to the firm.

Ludimila Poirier
Partner Attorney at the Firm, admitted to the Bar in Portugal and the Bar of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
Ludimila Poirier practices international and cross-border law, with particular expertise in family law, international succession, as well as immigration and international mobility matters.
She advises individuals and businesses on transnational legal issues, combining legal rigor with strategic vision.
Holding a Master’s degree in Juridical and Forensic Sciences from the University of Coimbra, she contributes to the legal coordination of the firm's transnational files and ensures the quality of oversight for international cases handled by LDPS Law.

Luiz Eduardo Guzzo de Souza
Partner lawyer of the firm, registered with the Rio de Janeiro Bar Association (Brazil).
Luiz Eduardo Guzzo de Souza practices mainly in business law, tax law, white-collar crime and foreign trade.
It assists companies in structuring and securing their activities, as well as in managing complex legal issues related to their economic and commercial operations in Brazil.
He is a member of the Special Anti-Corruption, Compliance and Social Control Commission of Public Spending of the Brazilian Bar Association – Rio de Janeiro (OAB/RJ).
He holds a postgraduate specialization (pós-graduação lato sensu) in criminal law and criminology from the Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS).

Lídia Corrêa
Partner lawyer, Lídia Corrêa is a lawyer in France and a member of the Minas Gerais Bar Association (Brazil), with more than ten years of experience in international law.
Trained in human rights at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, she provides strategic legal support to Brazilian families wishing to settle in France in a secure manner and in accordance with the applicable legal framework.
She also advises on international contracts and business law, contributing to the firm's cross-functional and international approach.
